The current MSDK is unable to continuously read data in the background, but the conflict issue with Pilot 2 has been resolved. I have learned that there are no plans to implement background data reading in MSDK in the short term.

Thank you. Are there any other plans on enabling forwarding payload data to external devices on the RC Plus, as it in general was possible on the Smart Enterprise RC? It is a bit frustrating that we otherwise loose a nice feature by migrating from the M300 to the M350.

Could you please inform us which data from the Payload you need to forward to other devices? Since the Mobile SDK can access most of the drone data, it might help you achieve your goal. However, due to the limitation that only one App can communicate with the aircraft on RC PLUS, the Mobile SDK must be in the foreground to retrieve the data.

We are using the PSDK to send data from our payload via the low-speed data channel to the MSDK, which just forwards the data via UDP to a network target server. This works fine, also in the background with MSDK v 4.17 on the Smart RC of the M300, while using the Pilot 2 app in the foreground.

I cannot really test it right now, but would it be possible to stream data from the payload to a secondary remote control, while at the same time controlling the drone from them main RC (both RC Plus for M300/M350)?
