understanding the model develepment. but don't dji already have software that we can use. i understand that high res photos needs to be inputted into the drone but surely dji does have the software to do that. when looking at the AI dev site i saw how they use software to train the ai to identify cracks in a road surely that same software can train the ai to recognize animals

Currently, DJI does not have an open-source model for animal recognition, except for the M4 series which has open-source models in the pilot for recognizing people, cars, and boats. What you saw on the official website are examples and model cases developed by other manufacturers. Therefore, if you need to use an AI recognition model to identify animals, you can contact the case manufacturers on the official website, or you can train your own model using YOLOv8.
