Create a mapping waypoints given a boundary using Android/UX SDK
CompletedI am using Smart controller and am interested to build an app given the mapping boundary considering the camera FOV the app generates the waypoints for each meter and takes a picture at each of those waypoints and sends those to laptop.
I have communication between laptop and drone working. I would like to customize mission flight app in DJI Pilot. Is there a tutorial on how DJI is generating the mapping waypoints? If not want functions in Android SDK would be helpful to draw a boundary and to generate waypoints?

What aircraft model are you using? We do provide functions for waypoint. You can use waypointMissionOperator. API Link:https://developer.dji.com/api-reference/android-api/Components/Missions/DJIWaypointMissionOperator.html Sample Link:https://github.com/dji-sdk/Mobile-SDK-Android/blob/master/Sample%20Code/app/src/main/java/com/dji/sdk/sample/demo/missionoperator/WaypointMissionOperatorView.java -
I am using MEA drone. Is Mission Flight app opensource? I would like tools to draw boundary
Would it be possible to send waypoints one by one while the drone is flying? For example, we give the drone one waypoint and when it reaches my planner sends next waypoint, instead of pre-planning the all waypoints I want to build an adaptive waypoints

Dear Client Thank you for contacting DJI. Do you mean M2EA?If yes, it can be used with WaypointMission. We have provided a Mobile SDK for you to develop your own program to control/setup waypointMission for your aircraft. For "Mission Flight" app, I don't know about it feature so you have to ask their dev team. For our MSDK, all waypoints must be pre-set before a waypointMission is started. Therefore, if you want to add more waypoints during a waypointMission. You have to stop and add them, then reupload the waypointMission and start it. Kindly Regards, DJI Developer Support
