Using an Android IoT Gateway for Headless Drone Data Streaming and Telemetry to a Backend Server
Hello
I'm exploring the idea of using an Android IoT Gateway to create a headless application that can act as a bridge between a drone and a backend server. Specifically, I'm curious if such a setup can handle the following tasks:
1. Real-time Data Streaming: Can the IoT gateway stream live video or telemetry data from the drone to a backend server?
2. Telemetry Information: Is it possible to transmit battery status, speed, GPS location, and other sensor data via the gateway?
3. SDK Integration: Can an Android IoT Gateway effectively utilize Android SDKs (e.g., DJI SDK) for managing these functionalities without requiring a display?
If anyone has experience with similar setups or insights into the feasibility of this architecture, I'd love to hear your thoughts!
Thanks in advance!

Dear Developer, Hello and thank you for reaching out to DJI Innovations. DJI provides a Cloud API for developers, which can be used to achieve the functionality you expect. However, it only supports certain models. Please check if your drone supports the Cloud API; here is a detailed list of supported models. If your drone does not support the Cloud API, you will need to develop an app based on the DJI Mobile SDK to achieve the expected functionality. We hope that our solution meets your needs satisfactorily. We appreciate your email and wish you a wonderful day! Best Regards, DJI Innovations SDK Technical Support Team
