SDK control of Ronin MX gimbal

Hi,

As part of a research project, we are looking into controlling the Ronin MX gimbal from software to create an automatic alignment system.

However, it is not clear from the SDK documentation whether we can do this directly with the gimbal itself, or whether the SDK can only interact with the gimbal indirectly via a drone platform or flight controller.

So my question is, can I use the SDK to *directly* connect to and control the Ronin MX gimbal, for example from a Windows PC or iOS device, without needing a drone or any other hardware in between?

  Sorry，Ronin MX can't be controlled directly by SDK. You need a Martice 600.

  And you can fill this ticket to feed your request back to DJI. They will value this.

  Thanks for your answer. Is it only the Matrice 600 that allows programmatic control of the gimbal? We don't want to buy a drone. It looked like we could possibly use the A3 or N3 flight controller, based on this table - is that correct?
