Issue with DiagnosticsKey.SYSTEM_STATUS Not Updating at Critical Battery Level for M300 on MSDK v4.17
CompletedDear DJI Support Team,
I hope this message finds you well. I am writing to report an issue we have encountered with the Matrice 300 RTK (M300) using the DJI Mobile SDK (MSDK) version 4.17.
Issue Description
The DiagnosticsKey.SYSTEM_STATUS key does not update as expected when the M300 reaches a critical battery level. According to our understanding, the system status should change to "Unable to takeoff" once the drone's battery reaches a critical level. However, during our tests, we observed that this transition does not occur.
Test Details
To investigate this issue, we developed a specific Android test application that logs the value of the DiagnosticsKey.SYSTEM_STATUS key. The following steps were undertaken:
- We set a predefined critical battery level for the M300.
- The drone was operated until it reached the specified critical battery level.
- The system status was monitored and logged throughout the test.
Despite the drone reaching the critical battery level, the DiagnosticsKey.SYSTEM_STATUS did not change to "Unable to takeoff" as expected.
Impact
This issue is of significant concern as it affects our ability to rely on the system status for operational decisions, particularly those involving battery management and safe operation of the drone.
Request
We kindly request your assistance in resolving this issue. Specifically, we seek clarification on the following points:
- Is there a known issue with DiagnosticsKey.SYSTEM_STATUS not updating at critical battery levels on MSDK v4.17?
- Are there any workarounds or solutions to ensure the system status accurately reflects the drone's ability to take off under critical battery conditions?
- Could this be related to specific configurations or settings that we might need to adjust?
We appreciate your prompt attention to this matter and look forward to your guidance. If additional information or logs are required, please let us know, and we will be happy to provide them.
Thank you for your support.
