How to connect to Matrice 350 topside PSDK port

I just need a sanity check on how to connect to the topside PSDK Port on the Matrice 350 RTK.
What I intend to do is:
- Connect to the drone's topside PSDK port using a Matrice 300 Series Upward Gimbal Connector, which provides a SkyPort V2.
- Connect to the upward gimbal connector's SkyPort V2 using the Payload SDK Development Kit 2.0
- Connect to the onboard computer using UART and Ethernet for high-bandwidth data transfer.
Please tell me if I have correctly understood what to do. I am asking to make sure all the connections are correct, and because the Payload SDK Development Kit 2.0 says it is only compatible with the Matrice 200 Series V2 (https://store.dji.com/product/psdk-development-kit-v2) but the the PSDK site says it's compatible with SkyPort V2 connectors in general (https://developer.dji.com/doc/payload-sdk-tutorial/en/model-instruction/choose-hardware-platform.html), so that is confusing.
Please let me know if I have to purchase anything other than
- Matrice 300 Series Upward Gimbal Connector
- Payload SDK Development Kit 2.0
