DJI Mini 4 Pro MSDK release date

I would like to ask how the MSDK development for DJI Mini 4 Pro is going. I will be doing a thesis in which I need to program a drone to fly autonomously, and I would rather use a DJI Mini 4 Pro drone than a Mini 3 Pro.

So I would like to know approximately when the MSDK for the Mini 4 Pro might be released so that I can decide whether to wait for the MSDK to be released for the Mini 4 Pro or buy the older Mini 3 Pro.

  We would like to inform you that the anticipated release of the MSDK version supporting the mini 4 pro is expected to take place in the first half of this year. Please be aware that this is an estimated timeframe and there is a possibility of delay.

  DJI Developer Support we are now in July, 6 months later. Any news on this?

   

  Getting support from Litchi or DroneDeploy for the Mini 4 Pro would be awesome, as in the EU in residential and industrial areas it is much easier to be within legal limits than with for example a Mavic 3 Enterprise.

  Update (as of August 2024)

  I contacted support directly for an undate on the release date for the Mini 4 Pro SDK specifically and they replied with the below;

  "We apologize for any inconvenience caused. Due to recent strategic adjustments, the plan to support the Mini 4 has been postponed. Unfortunately, I am unable to provide you with an exact timeline for when support will be available. We recommend that you prioritize models that are currently supported by the SDK. Your understanding and patience in this matter are greatly appreciated."

  Just thought I'd share the update for anyone else wondering...

  TA(GB) I somehow didn't expect anything else.

   

  The Mini and Air series are the consumer lines so their focus for the MSDK doesn't exactly lie there.

  I still hope that they will do it somewhat soon, maybe before EoY?
