Remote ID Setup for Mavic 2 Pro

Hey all -

Just getting started on this problem.   Did the latest firmware update and my drone won't take off because I guess RemoteID is not setup properly.

 

From what I am reading it seems I need to download MSDK and do something there, and then maybe update the firmware again after doing that?

 

I really have no idea how to do any of that but I have started nonetheless.

 

I downloaded Android Studio and MSDK v5.   I opened the MSDK in studio and trying to 'build' it now...

 

Any words of advice much appreciated (even more so, step by step instruction on getting my drone up and running would be simply amazing!!)

  I understand that your purpose of using MSDK is actually to bypass the restriction of Remote ID, right? In fact, DJI GO4 should have adapted to it. Remote ID will take effect in firmware versions V01.00.0670 and above, so you should be able to fly your aircraft normally with the latest version of DJI GO 4. Please note that you need to grant location permission to DJI GO 4.
