DJI Air 3 SDK (or DJI Fly update)?
Hello, I am writing to ask if DJI has any plans in the future to release the mobile SDK for the DJI Air 3 that was recently released?
I know many people bought the Air 2s because of the SDK compatibility. They specifically need a drone of this size for mapping. The Air 3 promotes the additional advantage of longer battery life than the Air 2s.
Please, will an SDK be worked on for the Air 3? I know many people will buy the Air 3 if they can use it for mapping.
So perhaps, a DJI Fly app update could do the same thing? Make the app have polygon mission planning tools, as part of the "Waypoints" functionality.
Thank you!

We regret to inform you that at the moment, Air 3 does not have any plans to provide support for the SDK. Regarding the functional requirements of Air 3, you can provide feedback to support@dji.com. -
For me it´s great a DJI AIR 3 option for indoor inspections and mapping.
DJI AIR 3 fits perfectly for our needs in size, autonomy and lens. -
I am also regretting selling my Air 2S to buy the Air 3. I fly for SAR and being able to plan a mission before hand is an absolute must. Being able to share missions the same. I can play way points in my Air 3 but no way to set up a mission beforehand or be able to share mission parameters. This is just not acceptable. Acceptable or not I know I am not being given a choice.
Will DJI at least be providing a Litchi style tool for planning and sharing of mission data? -
We regret to inform you that we can only address inquiries related to the SDK. For the issue you mentioned, we recommend reaching out to the technical support team on our official website.
