MSDK v5 on iOS

I know this question has been asked before but I didn't see a reason as to why there will not be a version of the new MSDK v5 on iOS? Is there no demand for an iOS version? Development cut backs? Some issue with the App store/Apple?

I ask because we have a lot of customers that currently use our iOS app to run surveying missions and it seems much more popular than the Android version of our app.
