Hello, from the log, you are mainly suffering from abnormal serial communication. It is recommended that you replace the USB-TTL and try again. It is recommended that you use FT232. If it is an onboard serial port, there may be compatibility issues.

I'm not using USB but connected the UART directly with Dupont cables. Also it does seem to communicate at least a little, because it detects that it's a M300 and the mount position.

Do you think something is wrong with the cabling ? I've connected TX, RX and Ground

Yours is an onboard serial port, which may be affected by frequency deviation. We recommend that you try changing to USB-TTL and connect again to see the effect.

Could you explain how USB <> TTL connexion works ? Is there any documentation ?

I've read about USB bulk configuration which left me confused, which is why I though UART would be easier.

Could it not be just the baud rate which is misconfigured ?

Hello, USB-TTL converts the USB interface on the computer into a serial TTL signal for control or communication with other devices. This converter usually includes a USB port, a TTL port and a chip, which can convert the digital signal output from the computer's USB port into a TTL level, allowing users to communicate and control external devices through the serial port. Your problem is mainly a serial port check error, and it occurs frequently. Based on past experience and cases, most of the abnormalities are caused by your serial port communication link. We usually recommend that developers change their connection links and PSDK environment.
