visual SLAM for consumer grade DJI

Dear, 

for a research project I am planning to use the Mobile SDK to develop a visual SLAM system for precise navigation in GPS denied areas using a DJI Mavic 3 E. I specifically wonder, if it is possible to do the photogrammetric processing of the near real time images on the laptop. So I would connect with drone with the RC and connect the RC with a USB C cable tot the laptop - Is this possible?
I would greatly appreciate any further ideas / Pseudo code / recommendations for predefined commands to get me started on the project.

  I hope you're doing well. I wanted to let you know that the remote controller for the Mavic 3 in the industry should support HDMI output for the live feed on Pilot 2. However, I'm not sure if the USB-C interface on the remote controller can be used for live transfer.
