MSDK App in Background while using Pilot 2.

Is it possible to run a msdk application in the background while the dji pilot 2 app is running in the foreground?

I want to develop a app that that gets data from a payload on the drone and is running in the background while the drone pilot is using the DJI Pilot 2 App.

Is it possible for a MSDK app to run in the background while the DJI Pilot app is used? I'am talking about the 

DJI RC Plus.

  We apologize for the inconvenience caused. The current version does not currently support the feature you are referring to. However, we are pleased to inform you that this feature will be supported in the upcoming version, which is scheduled to be released in September.
