Replacement for VisionControlState

I'm currently working on obstacle avoidance checking. From v4, i know that i can use the VisionControlState to keep check the status.
For v5 i find that percptionmanager doing something similiar, but i cant find any listener to keep check is obstacale avoidance was happened.
Any suggestion or framework i can use for checking this issue?
