Do the Mini 3/Pro support waypoint missions?

Previously I think it had been implied that non-enterprise drones like the mini 3 would not support waypoint missions. Now that the Mini 3 Pro is supported by MSDK5, what is the status? Do the Mini 3 / Mini 3 Pro support waypoint missions? If not, might they in the future?

If some SDK5 capable drones do not support waypoint missions, is there an API which allows applications to determine whether a given drone supports waypoints?

  The Mini 3 and Mini 3 Pro does not upport native waypointMission feature in firmware. Therefore, the SDK cannot support this feature for those models. There is no methods to check if the given models support the waypointMissions.

  Seems to me that it would involve virtual sticks and the controller would need to apply controls via virtual sticks and pay attention to the aircraft's flight data to match the intention. My question would be -- is the RC Pro controller capable of that type of automation.
