MSDK 4.16.3 grouping infrared with visual photos

Hi,

I am trying to group together visual and infrared photos.

On our drone, which has a thermal camera, when a photo is taken, 2 photos are captured - one visual and one infrared.

I need a way to know which 2 mediafiles (MediaFile api) were taken together.

Months ago, I used

mediaFile.getPhotoGroupId()

to get a unique ID for photos that were taken together from different lenses, infrared and visual photos that were taken on the same time were given the same photoGroupId, but for some reason the output now is always 0.

Can you tell me what I am doing wrong? Why the value is always 0 now?

Any other method to group those photos together?

  This method hasn't occur in the API doc so I cannot ensure it is working. A possible reason for it is not working could be the update of your aircraft and camera's firmware. There is no other way to know if he visual and infrared photos are grouped rather than this method. But it nevers open to the publc which means we cannot gurantee it is working. Try check your firmware and find the one that is working for you.
